The UniFi Power Distribution Unit Professional is a device installed between the AC outlet and the power plug of an internet modem or router. The UniFi Network application continuously monitors availability of an internet connection. If the connection drops, the UniFi Power Distribution Unit Professional automatically restarts the modem or router by disconnecting power for a short period of time.
*ISP modems and optical network terminals using a US AC plug are reset during an outage.
**Virtual router redundancy support coming soon. Requires multiple UniFi Gateways. Requires a UniFi WiFi connection and a UniFi gateway.
